This place is where I met some of my best friends in the whole world, including this beautiful brunette who runs this blog with me. For me, taking away PFC feels like someone is ripping apart my home.
I know how many assumptions people make about PFC users - that we’re elitist snobs who think we’re better than everyone else because we’re in it. I’ve never met a single PFCer who honestly behaves this way or even remotely thinks this way.
PFC has been closed for almost two years now, not through any fault of the members. Of course it would be that the band would think it unfair that people haven’t been able to join or experience the same benefits that PFCers have enjoyed, but that was not our decision or input.
It does feel like a huge part of me is lost, and I know many others who feel this same way. To disband PFC completely makes it feel like the years we devoted and paid to be in this club never mattered, that the people who run PFC never even bothered to contact the Ambassadors (who work so hard and put in so much time to help other members) before making this announcement, that it’s like “thanks now get out” mentality.
To me, this hit really hard. I would love for PFC to be open and available to all again - but to have it just be taken away and disappear forever… it breaks my heart.
